HES Chairman Henry Hinkle brings approximately 40 years of experience to his role at HES, including work on major projects such as the Mountain Parkway Design Build Project/Campton Interchange extending East 3.5 miles; U.S. 68 Paris Pike/Lexington Road, Somerset Northern Bypass I-66 from Cumberland Parkway to U.S. 27, and the widening of U.S. 27 from Somerset to Stanford Road.
Henry is also the current Chairman of Hinkle Construction Services, LLC. His former roles of note include: President, Hinkle Contracting Company, LLC (2010-2012), President, Hinkle Contracting Corporation (1982-2010) and Vice President, Cumberland Quarries (1978-1982).
Henry is a past Chairman of the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors (KAHC), and a past Chairman of the Kentucky Crushed Stone Association (KCSA) as well as the Plantmix Asphalt Industry of Kentucky (PAIKY). He was also a past chairman of the Kentuckians for Better Transportation.

HES CEO Tom Hinkle has been an integral part of the Hinkle family tradition since 1978, when he joined the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Hinkle Contracting Corporation. Since then, Tom has served as Vice President of Quarry Operations (1990-2008) of the Hinkle Contracting Corporation and as Executive Vice President (2009-2012) and President/CEO (2013-2015) for the Hinkle Contracting Company. Tom is the current President of Hinkle Construction Services, LLC.
Major projects during his tenure at Hinkle Contracting Corporation and Hinkle Contracting Company include but are not limited to the Paris Pike Rehabilitation, the Mountain Parkway Design Build project in Wolfe County, and multiple sections of the Somerset Bypass in Pulaski County.
As CEO of Hinkle Environmental Services, LLC, Tom is responsible for the company’s long term planning and strategic guidance.
Tom Hinkle is the past Chairman of Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors, a past Chairman of the Kentucky Crushed Stone Association (KCSA), and a board member of The Road Information Program (TRIP), a national organization based in Washington DC.

HES President Will Hinkle’s industry experience includes the US 68 Rehabilitation and Safety improvement project in Mercer County, KY 115 and KY 911 Intersection Realignment in Christian County, and multiple Slope Stabilization and Road Slide Repair projects in Kentucky, West Virginia, and Tennessee.
In addition to his responsibilities at Hinkle Environmental Services, LLC, Will is currently the Vice President of Hinkle Construction Services, LLC. He is also currently a Board Member for the Kentuckians for Better Transportation and a member of the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors Safety Committee.
Will holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering (2009) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (2007) from the University of Kentucky; he also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Minors in Mathematics and History from Centre College (2005).

HES Vice President Wes Moore has been involved in the environmental services industry for 18 years. He has extensive experience in KYTC slide repair and transportation projects in addition to numerous Kentucky Underground Storage tank removal and remediation projects. Other notable projects include landfill closure projects and KYTC HSIP (Highway Safety Improvement Program) projects.
Wes holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology (2000) from Eastern Kentucky University and a Associates of Applied Science Degree in Environmental Science (1998) from University of Kentucky.
HES General Superintendent Donnie Sears has worked in the construction industry on a federal, state and local level for 25 hears and he has worked for Hinkle affiliated companies for 10 years. From 2006 to 20012, he worked for Hinkle Contracting Corporation, and in November, 2012, he joined the Hinkle Environmental Services team.
Donnie has extensive experience with concrete resurfacing, mass excavation projects, drilling/blasting projects, numerous slide repair projects, bridge construction, paved ditches, curb and gutter, landfill construction, gabion basket construction projects and design build slide repair projects.

HES Underground Storage Tank Manager Jim Wharton has over 40 years of experience in the drilling industry and has worked for Hinkle affiliated companies as a UST manager for 9 Years.
Jim’s experience includes oversight of all aspects of UST projects, including safety management, site utility clearance, scheduling field crews, estimating project bids, on-site supervision, client relations, and project record maintenance.
Jim also has experience as a Contractor Quality Assurance Inspector (CQA) on Hinkle landfill construction and reclamation projects for multiple organizations, including the Kentucky Division of Mines and Minerals, Norfolk Southern Railroad, Kentucky Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet, Murray State University.
